Club AGM, 2022/23
We had our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday 28/01/2023.
It was a wonderful event with more than 60 members attending at Poppintree Sports Centre, Ballymun. Yash Raj Mate, Captain of the 1st team in the season 2023 started the function with a welcome speech. Secretary Syam Mohan explained the on field performance of the Club. Treasurer Sajesh Sudarshanan read out the Income & Expenditures of season 2022. President Romy Mathew spoke about the future plans of the Club. Youth secretary Chetan Mahadev read out the best individual performances of 2022 season.
Yash Raj Mate got the player of the year award and best all-rounder award for the 1st Team for his whopping 535 Runs & 35 wickets…
Ajit Kumar Tiwari won the best Batsman award for his 503 Runs...
Sajith Kalinhalil won the best bowler award for his 34 wickets…
For the Second Team
Syam Mohan won the best all-rounder award for his 298 Runs & 20 wickets.
Best Batsman award went to Sajesh Sudarshanan for his 394 Runs…
Anoop Vargese won the best bowing award for his 22 wickets…
For the Third Team
Ronn Mathew was the best all-rounder for his 189 Runs & 11 wickets…
Andrew John was the best batter for his 198 Runs.
Alan Jose was the best bowler for his 9 wickets…
There were some special awards for special performance too…
Vishnu Nair awarded a trophy for his swashbuckling century 110 not out for the first team.
Sathish Vargese for his stunning 127 for the Second Team.
Vishnu Nair also won the best fielder award for his 16 awesome catches
Our Cubs team members, winners of the Cubs-A league recieved well-deserved medals
Diya Syam was facilitated with Special medal for her splendid achievement of representing the Ireland Girls under 15 team. She started her cricket journey with Finglas CC, and is now playing for Phoenix Cricket Club.
President Romy Mathew distributed the trophies & medals.
Youth secretary Chetan Mahadev delivered the vote of thanks and the occasion concluded with a pizza party
All in all it was a well organised event.
